Award-winning author, journo and publisher, Melinda Ferguson burst onto the local literary scene with her hard-hitting memoir, Smacked in 2005. Her triumphant journey from being a homeless heroin and crack-head to miraculous recovery captured the nation. Her memoirs Hooked and Crashed followed. Bamboozled is her latest memoir.
In 2013 she launched her own book publishing imprint and to date has published over 60 titles. These include the Sunday Times Alan Paton Award winner in 2016, Rape A South African Nightmare by Dr Pumla Dineo Gqola. Melinda regularly facilities sold-out memoir writing courses in Cape Town and online.
