With Trevor Parkinson — Entrpreneur, Marijuana Advocate, Healer, Researcher

In short

A radio conversation with Trevor Parkinson, founder of Can I Heal You and its Cannabis Oil Research agency, who says he survived seven cancers and type 1 diabetes using cannabis oil. He explains microdosing, the endocannabinoid system, why pharmacy CBD differs from full extract oil, how to spot backyard product, and South Africa's legal grey area. David Watts describes his own relief from diabetic nerve pain.

How did Trevor Parkinson end up working with cannabis?

He was first exposed at nine years old, making cannabis tea for his grandfather, and says he has been involved with the plant for 41 years and making oil for 29. He was diagnosed with cancer at 27. By training he is a biochemist, a military-trained electrical mechanical and structural engineer with an MBA.

Why has cannabis suddenly become socially acceptable when it was long dismissed as a drug for stoners?

Parkinson blames earlier misconceptions, what he calls wrong propaganda and pharmaceutical companies using their influence against the plant. He argues a natural plant should not be classed alongside heroin, cocaine or pharmaceuticals, and says recognition by universities and a growing volume of human case studies has shifted opinion by word of mouth.

Does the human body produce its own cannabinoids?

Yes. David raises the endocannabinoid system, and Parkinson agrees, claiming people naturally produce more THC per day than is legally permitted, roughly 17.9% THC per part per million per hour, equivalent to about 18 bottles a month. He says cannabis works through the CB1 and CB2 receptors that regulate the whole system.

What difference did cannabis oil make to David's diabetic nerve pain?

It restored his sleep. He had type 2 diabetes for around six years with severe neuropathy, surviving on one to two hours of sleep a night and jumping with what felt like electric shocks. After a couple of years on the oil he now sleeps six to eight hours and is almost off his prescription nerve-pain medication, though feeling has not returned to his feet.

Will medicinal cannabis oil make you high?

Parkinson says no, because the compounds responsible for the hallucinogenic effect are removed from medicinal cannabis and the doses used are tiny. He claims drinking a whole bottle would only cause diarrhoea. His biochemistry work led him to microdosing, which he describes as jump-starting the endocannabinoid system so the body can rebalance and heal itself.

How do you tell a properly made cannabis oil from backyard product?

Look at the equipment and knowledge behind it. Parkinson says his test machine costs about R3 million, his supercritical machines about R8.5 million each, and a decent processing lab around R80 million, which a garage operation cannot match. He has tested oil bought by consumers that turned out to be tractor oil, and warns the wrong strain can worsen a condition.

Is the CBD oil sold in South African pharmacies the same thing?

No, according to Parkinson. Pharmacy CBD oil is a hemp derivative made by blending MCT oil with a CBD isolate, whereas his product is extracted from the raw plant. He compares the difference to a bicycle against a Ferrari, and says true extraction would cost thousands of rand more per 30ml bottle.

Where does South African law actually stand on this?

In a grey area. Parkinson says decriminalisation allows three grams on your person and growing for your own consumption at home. Nothing can be medically certified locally because, from his regular meetings with the medicines control council, no medical regulatory framework exists for the product, so no medical claim may be made here, though international publications exist.

Can the oil be used on pets and other animals?

Yes, there is a dedicated animal range. Parkinson lists rhinos, giraffes, hippos, stud racehorses, dairy cattle, bulls, dogs, rabbits, chinchillas and guinea pigs, and a hairless rat currently being treated for a growth on its eye. David gives his 13-year-old Alsatian cross Ridgeback the oil for failing hips and says her walks and quality of life improved.

Is Parkinson not afraid of being arrested for what he does?

No. He says he works on divine intervention, reasoning that if he was saved from cancer seven times it was not so he could be locked up. He adds he can afford advocates, considers the government's case weak, has been taking them on for 17 years and has never been locked up.

In their words

Taken from the recording, word for word.

My trip on cannabis and dealing with cannabis started when I was nine years old, when I was making tea for my grandfather.

— Trevor Parkinson

You actually need to take it in such low dosages that it's impossible for you to be high in the dosages that you take it in.

— Trevor Parkinson

People say to me, "What is your success ratio?" I say to you, "It's 100%." But if the person's not prepared to make a change, it's none, zero.

— Trevor Parkinson

I've tested some oil that people have bought and it came out of a tractor. I could even tell you which tractor it came from.

— Trevor Parkinson

When I get into bed at night, I can go to sleep and get a good six to eight hours sleep.

— David Watts

Key takeaways

  1. Parkinson's central claim is that the body heals itself and cannabinoids simply give the endocannabinoid system a nudge back into balance, which is why microdoses work without any intoxicating effect.
  2. Both men frame the biggest obstacle as social rather than medical: people use the product privately but will not discuss it because of peer pressure and fear of being labelled a drug user.
  3. Product quality is presented as a question of laboratory capability and strain knowledge, not good intentions, with Parkinson citing multimillion-rand testing equipment and 177 strains he works with.
  4. Pharmacy CBD oil and full plant extract cannabis oil are, on Parkinson's account, fundamentally different products with different origins, costs and effects.
  5. South Africa's lack of a medical regulatory framework, rather than an absence of research, is why no medical claims can be made locally.
  6. David's own experience is offered as testimony rather than advice: he repeatedly tells listeners to research it and make their own choice.

Show notes

On this episode I chat with Trevor about the phenomenon that is medical marijuana.  Trevor is a fountain of knowledge about the healing properties of marijuana.  I share my story of the benefits of using CBD's on myself and my aging dog. Below is a great resource for cannabis info

Frequently asked questions

Can it be shipped abroad, for example to someone in the United States with Parkinson's?

Yes. Parkinson says he has depots around the world and can courier directly from South Africa, and that he sends roughly 190 international parcels a week.

Is there a risk of becoming addicted to the oil?

Parkinson says no, arguing there is more THC in a person's own saliva than in the doses they would take, so swallowing your own saliva would be more habit-forming.

What about epilepsy or bipolar disorder?

Parkinson offers close to 5,000 case studies people can contact directly, and describes patients going from 300 seizures a month to one or two a week within days, and a medically boarded bipolar man returning to full-time work.

Does he know anything about vitamin B17?

Only broadly. He distinguishes a synthetic version, which is readily available, from a true extract produced in only a few countries, which he says works but is very expensive.

Where should someone start looking for information or a supplier?

Cannabisoilresearch.com, one of the agencies under Parkinson's Can I Heal You project. He suggests going through one of their agents worldwide, and David says it is where he began his own research.

The full conversation, 8,018 words.

- Do we have you on the line, Trevor? - Yes, I'm online. - Oh, fantastic. I can hear you again. I thought that things were going a little wonky here, but it seems that everything is okay. My special guest now joining me on the line is, and I did get this right. Trevor, you're the founder of CannabisOilResearch.com. - No, I'm the founder of Can I Heal You dot com, Cannabis Oil Research is one of our agencies. - Oh, can I heal you? Okay, all righty. - I'm the founder and the creator of the project. - Okay, so let's just talk a little bit about this because this is, it's a subject that's becoming really close to my heart over the last little while. And well, as we get into the discussion, I'm sure we'll do that. But let's start off with a little bit about who is Trevor. Give me a bit of your history, a bit of your background. - Okay, so when I was 27 years old, I got diagnosed with hicylic cancer. - Yeah. - And that was when I started with the path on cancer, but my trip on cannabis and dealing with cannabis started when I was nine years old, when I was making tea for my grandfather. - Wow. - And the cannabis plot. So I've been involved with the cannabis plot since I was nine years old.

So I'm 51 now. So yeah, that's 41 years in dealing with the actual herb, the actual plot. - Okay, now for a very long time, cannabis was just seen as the domain of stoners and it was a drug and it was for people who were useless, no good layabouts. And suddenly, at least to my attention, over the last year or two, this whole subject has really taken off. Why do you think that is? - Well, I think people had the complete misconception about the actual plot and it being called a drug is completely incorrect. I mean, pharmaceuticals, yeah, those are drugs. They are hardcore drugs and heroin and cocaine, that's drugs. And natural plant, which was basically given to us to use by our creator, how could that possibly be called a drug or thing? I think people's misconception about it and the wrong propaganda and pharmaceutical companies also using the power that they have to actually promote against them. And now suddenly, this plant is coming around and destroying the myth that it's such a bad thing. And basically coming out to be the top healer in the planet on all forms. And it's comes from a natural who? - Okay, now this is the amazing part because if I understand it correctly, you had two, three different kinds of cancer and diabetes?

- Seven types of cancer and terminal classic, critical type one diabetes, which I've actually completely got myself off all pharmaceutical drugs for six months now. - That is, I've read about this kind of stuff and you hear press about that, but to actually talk to somebody like that. Now I've seen some photos of you. You certainly don't look like a man who was sent home and said, well, that's about as much as we can do for you. Best you make your plans and say your goodbyes. - Well, in some of those photos five years ago, I was double the weight I am today. - Yeah, wow. - And so, yeah, I think, you know, the whole thing about it and stuff like that with people got to understand stuff like that. It's all about choice, right? Healing comes to you all about choice. And if I could just get back to cannabis, people don't understand that this plant is the only plant that actually naturally can communicate with the DNA of the human body on multiple levels because it has such a large strain availability of it. And there's no other medication out there, whatever that can actually deal with it on the kind of level that it goes down to on your cannabinoid level of your CBD1 and CBD2 receptors.

- Okay, now this is the interesting thing that I came across a little while ago is something that we as humans have, which is an ECS, your endocannabinoidal system. That is correct. - So we actually produce cannabinoids naturally. - Well, David, you know, something which I will say to people quite often that people love me. Do you know that you actually produce more THC than what's legally allowed in your body per day? - Really? - Naturally. - That is unbelievable. - And that is why cannabis works because its main component is tetrahydrocannabinols, which is basically programmed to work in your CBD1 and CBD2 receptors, which controls your ECS, system of your body. - Okay, so- - And that controls basically everything that happens within your body. - Now, what is your background that you, I know you said that you've been involved with this since you were nine and you made tea for your granddad, but I mean, what is your background into this? I mean, you must have suddenly went, okay, all of this is not working. I'm going to figure out more stuff. How did that work out? - I'm a biochemist. - Mm-hmm. - Okay, but profession, trained, military trained, electric mechanical engineer, structural engineer with an MBA.

- Okay, so- - You know, I'm just playing outright stoners out there that I don't really know much at. (laughing) As per your previous comment that you made about cannabis people, just a bunch of stoners out there. I must be one of the educated stoners then. - Okay, but this is the amazing bit, and I want to get into this, and I want to chat a little bit further with you because finding out what you guys were doing and getting the hold of the product for myself, it has quite literally been life-changing for me, and we'll get into that when we come back. We're just going to take a quick break. We'll be back. My special guest on the line with me is Trevor Parkinson, and we're talking about cannabis, and I'm so glad that Trevor has decided and agreed to speak to me because it's something that so many people are speaking about at the moment, but not always publicly. And I think it's something we need to talk about publicly because it's just revolutionary. So we'll be back with Trevor in just a bit. It is Mix 93.8, legendary radio. By the way, if you'd like to get hold of us, any questions you'd like to ask Trevor, you can SMS me 41348. That's 41348. Those SMSes are charged at 150. Otherwise, WhatsApp us is 084-822-0938.

That's 084-822-0938. We'll be back with Trevor in just a bit. It is what's involved on this Monday night. My special guest on line with me is Trevor Parkinson, and I said we're going to go into a little bit of more detail, and I'm going to share my story as well. I don't think it's been any... I haven't made a secret or not. But, Trevor, why the sudden interest in this little plant which is known by a lot of people affectionately as weed? Because to me, it's certainly a whole lot more than that. Well, I think the interest is coming along the actual success of it now being recognised by a lot of places around the world, a lot of universities, and then the amount of physical case studies. So, this is not case studies on animals, even though the product works perfectly well on animals. These are people that have taken and made the choice and gone out there and got hold of some of the plant and found out, but wow, OK, it actually works. OK, I've got... Yeah, sorry. And I think this is where the whole thing comes about, is that people are now starting to realise that this is working far better than anything else. And, you know, word and mouth is now becoming stronger and stronger and stronger in the success ratios.

I mean, you know, we get a 95% success ratio on the product. I mean, you know, anything like that, but that's not to cry about, that's to rejoice about. That's absolutely amazing. Now, this is the amazing thing for me, though, because there is still, particularly in South Africa, very much of a sort of, I don't know, you know, and in terms of the law and where we stand with the law and what we are allowed to do and not allowed to do... A great cloud, David. They call it a great cloud. So, you know, and I think once you just... You know, once you decide that this is the way to go, then, you know, yes, you know, you can get hold of this stuff. Let me tell you a little bit of my story and I'll tell you why I want to do so desperately speak to you and share this with my listeners, is I've had type 2 diabetes for about six odd years now, maybe a bit more, and before I was diagnosed, I had massive nerve damage in my feet, massive neuropathy, and it had gotten to the stage where the chemicals or the medication I was taking... Never mind for the actual diabetes. I'm talking now specifically for the pain, because nerve pain, unless you've actually suffered it, you will never understand what it's all about.

But I was getting by on maybe an hour or two sleep a night. I was in constant pain. Sleeping next to me in a bed was an absolute nightmare because I jumped around like I was getting electric shocks the whole time. Came across the product and everything, and I said, "Listen, yeah." You know, in fact, it was my fiancé who said, "Listen, do this," and I think she was just hoping that something would eventually just work for me. And I've been using it for a couple of years now, a couple of years, couple of months, and I've got to tell you, I'm almost off all of the prescription medication for the nerve pain, and it's like I've been given a new lease on life. -And how is the feet now? Is the sensation coming back slowly or...? -Not yet. I don't think... I don't think I've found quite the right balance that I need to find. And obviously, this is something that we need to chat a little bit more about, but I'm just wondering in terms... Because my initial sort of response when she said, "Try this," I'm like, "Listen, I need to work. I need to earn a living. I need to do all of this. I can't spend my entire day being stoned out of my head." And then, obviously, I went and did research, and the stuff that I've been getting is the high CBD stuff, which is very different from the THC, if I'm not mistaken.

-Well, it still uses the same THC, but your percentage is much lower in the THC there. -Okay, because I must tell you, I don't in the slightest at any stage feel zonked or stoned or anything like that. I mean... -You could drink that whole bottle. It would just give you a good case of the diarrhea. Other than that, it would do nothing to make you up. It's impossible. There's no nothing there to make you high, that entire bottle. -Really? So, it's got such a low percentage. -And that's the beauty of this actual bond. You actually need to take it in such low dosages that it's impossible for you to be high in the dosages that you take it in. -That's amazing. -They can't be harmful. They can't be harmful to the body. And that's through my biochemistry background where I discovered microdosing and realized that all we have to do is jumpstart the ECS system of the body. So, it's like, you know, your back is kind of a bit flat, so you just give it a little bit of a jumpstart. -Yeah. -To give it the chance of a jumpstart, what happens, you burn out the thotomite. You're just going to give it that little nudge. And that's exactly what cannabinoids does naturally, is it gives your body that little nudge in the right direction.

So, it just causes a balance. And once your body gets a balance, it can cure itself because there's no product out there that will cure you. It's your body that cures itself. But you just need those little jumpstarts on different directions because of what we eat and drink being so toxic. And, obviously, the pharmaceuticals. The medication that you've taken. The drugs that you've taken for years. -Yeah, well, that's -- And, listen, that is a big thing. I mean, you would know yourself, you know, when you're taking various prescription medications, everything, yes, it sort of helps the system. You know, it helps sometimes, you know -- I hesitate to say "cure" because, you know, but it certainly can alleviate some of the symptoms. But long-term, I just wasn't convinced. Somebody just said, "Yeah, cannabis oil works. My friend was given six months to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had no money for chemo. She went straight onto cannabis oils. And now, three years later, has reduced her three cancer tumors to nothing. She only has a tiny little bit left and no scarring, which the doctor was absolutely shocked about. It works." This is the kind of thing that more and more people are saying, Trevor.

And somebody has just said, "Yeah, let's have a look." Oh, here's another one in. "My colleague has cancer and has been on this product for the last eight weeks. And the difference is day and night." Now, somebody else has sent me a voice note. I'm going to play the voice note out. And I'll just check if you can hear it, Trevor. You should be able to hear it. And then you can hear what they have to say. If you can't hear it, then I'll just fill you in on what they want. But this is what one of the listeners has just said. Hey, so just a question for Trevor. Now that the cannabis oil has become more socially acceptable and utilized and all the like of such, suddenly everybody and his dog is making their own brand of cannabis oil. And it seems as though it's now this passing fad that everybody can do it, like you just clear some space in your garage and you mix yourself up and you can start selling it. What kind of things should we be looking at to ensure that we are getting a quality product, rather than just some slapped-together backyard, watered-down nonsense that isn't really going to give us the benefits that we're hoping to get and paying for in this case? What kind of guidelines would you give us?

What would you recommend we look out for when choosing our product, whether it be for pain and inflammation or insomnia because there are different symptoms that can be treated with the cannabis oil, but we're probably not necessarily getting the right stuff at the way things are now. Right, so I take it you missed that, Trevor. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear it in the background there. Okay, so basically what the lady was saying is, you know, with this uprising of popularity for cannabis, and she said it seems like everybody in their dog is now able to clear a space in their garage and they start producing the stuff and selling it, et cetera, et cetera. So she was saying, you know, do you have any guidelines for people? What should they follow? What do they look for? Because I think that is a challenge with, you know, there's this big gray area. We haven't decided yet whether it's legal or illegal in South Africa, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

What would you suggest? So y'all, you know, we call those little home cookies, guys that cook at home. Yeah. And stuff like that. Things have advanced quite technologically from there. I mean, you know, my basic test equipment's about three million rand for the machine that we used to test it with, and then we run it through supercritical massier to machines there, about eight and a half million rand each. Wow. You know, such a decent processing lab would cost you in the region of about 80 million rand. So I don't see how somebody in their garage could compete to making a product of that nature with that kind of sophistication. And then also, you know, bearing in mind that, you know, you need to know a lot about this plant to be able to work with this plant. Okay, because apparently- You need to know a lot about medication to understand about contraindicators, because sometimes you can give them the wrong cannabis that will actually make the condition worse. Okay, so this is- There's a whole philosophy you must understand. You know, my background doesn't come with dealing with one strain of cannabis. I have personally cultivated and made 49 of my own strains. And I work with 177 strains from around the world.

Goodness gracious. Okay, well, that's- And I currently supply 152 countries with medicine or black oil around the world. Okay, all right. So yeah, you know, advice to that woman there is, you know, if you value your life to the extent that you would go buy somebody, something from your garage, rather go to your mechanic and take the engine or ask your cost, probably gonna do less harm to your body than the stuff you're gonna buy from that gas garage. Yeah, you see, this is the thing that did kind of concern- And David, you 100%, and this is the thing that concerns me as well, because now with the way that there's no clear gray area, there's no clear this, there's no clear that, everybody's just going out there, going on a whim, some of the stuff. And when I talk about engine, well, I'm not exaggerating. I've tested some oil that people have bought and it came out of a tractor. I could even tell you which tractor it came from, roughly the area from the atmospheric condition of the world and everything. That's the kind of equipment that we have to our availability.

You know, people are being, how can one say blindsided or bullshitted? To use the kind of simple word, I know we're on air, but I mean, that's what comes out of a bull.

And the bottom line of it is, people will rather, if there's a gray area, it's like a go to some backyard car and pay more than what the product's actually worth, purely because they just don't want to be recognized that they'll buy in cannabis. Well, I mean, we do still sit. And those people deserve to get what they pay for. Yeah, but we do still sit in this country, Trevor. Let's be honest here with the problem of,

again, it's a gray area. You're apparently allowed to use it in your home. I don't even know what the whole deal is there.

Decolonization basically says that you're allowed to have three grams on your person. And then you're allowed to grow for your own consumption at home. Okay, but the oils now, where does that, because I've now seen in the local pharmacies, the other day I was in a discount and bang, there it is. CBD oil, this, that, and the next thing is a whole range of CBD products. CBD does... So CBD oil, there's this part of a large variable between CBD oil and cannabis oil. Okay. And people must get confused there. CBD oil is hemp derivative. It comes from the hemp strain. Okay, right. And it is MCT oil, MCT oil, with an isolate for CBD mixed together and a blend to make CBD oil. If you had to extract CBD oil from the raw plant to the nature of what they want, people wouldn't be able to afford to pay for it because it would be around about 4,228 grand for a 30 mole bottle. And the average gain price is between 1,000 and 1,500 grand for a 30 mole bottle. If you had to extract it from true THC CBD, it would cost you 4,428 grand to expect that same bottle. Okay, but sure. So CBD is good in a way, but the CBD hard that you're getting is actually from an extraction process, not from an isolate added to it, the one that you actually own personally.

Okay, so... It's in no way that you can compare that to what you're buying in this gift. That would be comparing a bicycle to a Ferrari. Okay, so... The bicycles in this game and the Ferrari is what you have in the bottle that you go through our company. Okay, so there is this huge... I'm sorry, I'm getting distracted because we've got like hundreds of messages coming in right now with people asking... No, we could go for a week and we wouldn't be able to answer all the messages. And you know what that says to me. You need to do this more regularly. A bigger pardon? We need to educate people so we can do this on a more regular basis. I would absolutely love to. One of the questions just comes in that's just coming now that says, what about psychological disorders like bipolar disease or epilepsy? Can CBD be taken instead of drugs? I can tell you from personal experience, a very good friend of mine, his daughter used to have grand mal seizures like regularly all the time. She was on massive medication and they decided to go to this marijuana extract. And since then, sure, very seldom anymore does she have them. So yeah, I can absolutely attest to that. Trevor, what is your thought? To also answer the question and stuff like that, I could probably give her close to 5,000 case studies that she could make personal contact with.

She wants to. She just needs to make contact with us and I can put on to people that can actually tell her who's fighting the kind of condition she was talking about right now at this moment and having success with the product. I've taken bipolar people. I've taken people who've been medically boarded and that they're for bipolar from our government, okay, right? Who's now immigrated and is actually working in a full-time capacity completely sorted out. The only reason we moved overseas was because if we can't look for a job here again, he would lose his medical board. Wow, okay. And we are talking about guys that were clinically psychologically deprived of working for a company because of their bipolar. And it was actually purely a chemical imbalance by a mismatch of medication that the doctors gave this guy when he was at his younger stage when he went through a bit of depression from what happened in a military accident that he was involved in. Sure, okay. So after taking people that have 300 seizures a month within three days to maybe one or two seizures a week,

I've taken people lying on their deathbed where doctors, I said, make peace with it, send them a bit of black hole in their mouth and a couple of days later, they wake up and they say, "I can kill a burger right now." Sure. Yeah, you want to talk about success stories, testimonials and stuff like that. You must know, I've been doing this for a long time and we are spread throughout the world. And I mean, I can say that in the last seven years we've recorded, we've cured over 48,000 people from terminal cancer. I challenge any other oncology company out there to that to make a statement like it. Wow, okay. It's a natural product. You know what, this is... I thought that we would get some kind of a reaction having a chat by this because there are very few people that are prepared to talk about it and ask the questions, you know, both from like myself as somebody who is using the product and I'm not scared to say I'm using it because there's a lot of people I know that are all like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're using the product. We're using the product." Do you want to talk about it? Ooh, I don't know. What if my friend is going to say about it, "Oh, I'm a drug dealer. I'm at this, I'm at that, I'm at that." You know what, you're healthy, you look good and you're looking after yourself.

People should be accepted for your job. Yeah, exactly. Somebody says, "What about if somebody has Addison's disease?" No pituitary gland at all. 30 milligrams of cortisone a day. Man, that is scary. So that's cortisone a day and stuff like that. That person doesn't have a life anymore. They probably badly have to take sleeping tablets to fall asleep than they're having to take tablets to keep them awake. Their liver and kidney is pretty much probably in failure stages already and stuff like that there. With that kind of dash, just in a couple of years' time, probably heading for dialysis.

They need to make contact with us quite seriously and stuff like that is a protocol for that. But a lot of the thing is, David, I always tell people is that the person must be prepared to make that change.

People say to me, "What is your success ratio?" I say to you, "It's 100%." But if the person's not prepared to make a change, it's none, zero. Because if you're not prepared to accept, like you said, you took a chance. Yeah, yeah. Not knowing anything. And now suddenly, you can talk about it. And you know what? If I had to say to you right now, you're not even on 10% of what I normally do for diabetes. Yeah.

What are you taking with me? What are you taking with me? The inner tube to the Ferrari? What are you on the bicycle store? Okay, well, we need to talk about that because I need to chat to you one-on-one about that in terms of my personal stuff. Messages flowing... But how crazy is that? In that you're on such a low dosage and such a thing, but yet you felt a huge difference. Listen... Imagine if you weren't exposed to the whole thing. I mean, I take people from critical diabetes in six months with no medication, whatever. You know, listen, the one thing that has worked for me, and I got to tell you is, I now can actually... When I get into bed at night, I can go to sleep and get a good six to eight hours sleep. Just that. Just that tiny fact has changed my life for me because I was dragging my ass through every single day. I mean, you can imagine operating on one to two hours sleep or not. I just had... My tank was empty. Well, your body never shuts down so it can never rejuvenate. So it runs on the reserve, but there is no... So now it goes into whatever the hell it can find and it grabs whatever. And that's the whole thing. You must know, I fought diabetes... off the chemotherapy.

I got diagnosed as a critical diabetic off the chemotherapy. Wow. And I battled with it. And you know, anything I battled with in stuff like that, it was to realize that all this bloody medication and all this stuff like that was actually the thing that was causing 90% of the problems within my body. Yeah. And I kicked all of that out and it changed my life. My diabetes went to work. And I'm talking about 12 years fighting type 1 diabetes. Yeah. When we come back, we're going to take a break now. When we come back, we'll chat a little bit more. Somebody says... There's a lot of people asking for info, website, etc. But somebody here goes, "Why are there no medical publications stating that cannabis can cure cancer?" If I'm not mistaken, there's quite a lot of research in that field.

Could I just ask that person, can they type Google? Uh-huh. Okay. And then go type in medical publications for cannabis, sit back, wait for a couple of hours, let it refresh and she'll keep herself busy for the next nine years. Okay. Just reading those publications. Because the other interesting thing I've come across... But there's nothing. So there's nothing that could be medically certified for South Africa. And the reason why is because I'm in contact with separate, I have meetings with the medical control council on a regular basis. There has been no medical regulatory set for the product. And if there's no regulatory set for the product, you cannot make a medical claim. But internationally, there are millions and millions and millions of medical claims on the product, loaded daily. Yeah. And I mean, if you look... And if she wants to get a shortcut, just type in Israel. That's what I was going to say. That's exactly where I was going to go, Israel. Fantastic. Trevor, we'll be back, okay? We're going to take a quick break now. We'll be back chatting to you, Trevor Parkinson, about cannabis oil and CBDs, THC, what to do. And we're not talking about this in the sense of if you have just tuned in.

Somebody just said, "I've just tuned in." You're talking about drugs on air. We're talking about using it medically. And we're talking about the medical conditions, what it can help and assist with. My story goes a little bit further than just with my diabetes. And where we get back, we're going to talk about pits as well. It is Mix 93.8, some legendary radio for you. My special guest on the line with me, Trevor Parkinson. And we're talking about medical benefits of the cannabis plant now. For those of you who are going, "Well, relax. It's okay." We're talking about medical uses for this. And what Trevor just said, then in the bottle of drops that I have, and I have the drops and I have a detox thing and then I have capsules, that the level of THC is incredibly low in there. So I don't know. I certainly wouldn't consider myself a stoner. I should have had, what do you call it?

The misfortune to have smoked some weed when I was in the army. And it just makes me dumb and stupid and I really don't enjoy it. This doesn't work like that.

Trevor, what do you say? Well, the reason it doesn't work like that is the drug compound, the THC-V8 and Cv4 is taken out of it. Therefore, the cosmogenic hallucinogenic property out there, if you're working with medicinal cannabis, unfortunately, no, they're not there anymore. And that's what the government actually construed to be the drug portion.

You now see the gray area, David. Okay. We're taking this as legal cannabis. In other words, that bottle there has your body produces roughly around about 17.9% THC per particle per million per hour. Okay. So you would produce 18 of those bottles a month. Really? Yeah. This is fascinating. You know what I do enjoy though? And thank you, Trevor, for being on with us. Because, you know, and specifically with my listeners, and I do, I encourage people to be open and honest. And some people are going to ask him if his products have a nappy code. I know some people that's in the business, according to my knowledge, the crystals go from THC to CBD. Some of the brands in the pharmacy ranges are legit and people have invested millions of dollars. I'm not saying they're not legitimate. Okay. What I'm saying is, you know, what Trevor is advocating. Yeah. People have a choice of what they buy, whether they want to buy the chemically enhanced created one, or the one made from the natural plant. That's all I'm saying. Okay. So for those guys who invested billions, there's a reason, because they come from the pharmaceutical industry. Where do you buy it from? This kid clicks all the places they sell pharmaceuticals.

They obviously don't want to lose out on the law bandwagon. Uh-huh. And then there's more golden egg, because they can't get their fingers in on the THC market. Because it's not in Korean. All right. And listen, one of our listeners in the Ukraine has messaged me now, saying that just today, they had a discussion with a Ukrainian colleague and they're pushing for legislation to make it available in the Ukraine as well. And this guy is a health practitioner themselves. And as they say here, they totally for the use of it in chronic conditions. All I can say is you've got to do your research. There's some brilliant information out there. There's in fact, an entire documentary on the ECS or the endocannabinoidal system. And there's doctors in the States, there's people in Israel that are studying this all the time now, because of the kind of responses. I'm sharing what my experience has been to date. Trevor's shared what his experience has been. And I got to tell you, I've got an Alsatian cross Ridgeback and she is 13 years old now. And it came on kind of suddenly about a month or two ago, and her hips were starting to give out. And I was absolutely devastated. And somebody said to me, you taking this stuff, why not find out if you can give it to your pets, which I did, and I got to tell you the difference in her is amazing.

We go for walks every single morning. She's now able to go for walks. She enjoys her walks and I've seen a great improvement in her and her quality of life. And I'm not filling her full of anti-inflammatories and all sorts of things. She's getting the natural thing. And for a dog like that Alsatian cross Ridgeback to reach the age of 13, it's quite a thing. And those dogs generally do suffer with hip problems. She's doing so much better. So for me, I'm talking from experience and this is what I'm saying. I'm not saying go out there and do this. You make your own decision, okay? You can't turn around at any day because this is what happens. And a lot of us do this in South Africa. We may get somebody else's problem. It's your choice. Make the choice, yay or nay. If it works for you, it works. The good news is if you do try it and you decide it doesn't work for you, there are no ill effects. Somebody else said, "But what happens if I take this oil or whatever the case may be? Am I going to be addicted?" Trevor? If they swallow their own saliva, they would be more addicted to that because there's more TST and their own saliva than what they would give those far from pinkops and keep cracking their days.

Yeah. So there you go. That's a great answer there. I'm just going through all of these. And that comes from the biochemistry of my background. Okay. Okay. And that's how simple it is. And I'm glad you mentioned Ukraine and Israel. I mean, you know, I've been working with the doctors in Israel for probably 20 odd years. And a lot of the actual studies around the world based on a range of oil manufactured only by a few selective people on this planet. And I can tell you that the National Health has just approved our oil over 27 samples from around the world through Israel. So this is the oil that we as South Africa... This is the oil that I actually create myself by creation. Okay. So David, so the difference is that, you know, you're not just talking to somebody who comes from, you know, trying to make oil for a couple of things. I've been involved in this project for 41 years. I've been making oil for 29 years. Okay. And I've traveled 7% of this world. Okay. Sampling cannabis around the world, finding different strains, doing research on it, sharing out samples, sending out free samples, millions and millions of rands worth around the world with fellow people like me who have a passion to cure people.

And coming to what you're saying is, "Pitch, my wife runs a non-profit organization that rescues pictures. I live in a house with 70 animals." What? Okay. And I'm now... I bought a farm because I need more space because I want to give my animals more space. And that there... And Mrs. Parkinson is actually the current Mrs. Tourism International. She's just been crowned in Philippines a couple of days ago. She is actually owner of our company. I actually wanted to say to you, please give her our congratulations because I saw that she'd just won that Mrs. Tourism 2019. So, well done to her. And these fine people, you can have a look at my travels. You can see where I've been. I share them all over Facebook and stuff like that. And you know what? In every one of those countries where there's illegal or illegal, they've all welcomed us. And I've opened up so many clinics around the world, these case studies and stuff like that, in countries where this product carries a death penalty. And we are sitting with 150 plus people being cured from cancer. What is government saying now? Time to talk. Well, this is the question. I mean, because I've had people that, and the messages are coming in, that a person like you is nothing more than a drug peddler.

Are you not afraid of getting locked up and incarcerated? You know, I work in divine intervention, which is different to what other people work on. You know, why would I say so many times from cancer to be locked up? If that was supposed to happen, then why bother saving me seven times from cancer?

Somebody had another idea, and that would be the creator. And as I'm the creator of this product, I'm creating this for the better and helping of other people. And I don't give a damn if they want to lock me up. Because you know what? I can afford to pay advocacy lawyers to fight the case. Our government structure is so weak and so thin. I'll take them on tomorrow. I've got no problem. I've been taking them on for 17 years.

This is interesting. I haven't been locked up in 41 years for this product. Yeah, because, and you know what? It's amazing, and I don't know if it's just South Africa, but you know, again, this is something I was in incredible pain, and I needed something to deal specifically, first and foremost, with the pain. I had, you know, my fiance got me the stuff and organized for me. But I literally then went and did as much research as I could possibly do, and then made the decision. And yet, you know, when you're sitting on a weekend with people that you know, or you're out somewhere, everybody's like, "Yeah, it's great stuff, great stuff." Do you want to talk about it? No. Why are we so scared?

You know, there's no reason to be scared, Keron. But it's got to do with society and peer pressure. You know, the all-in-day society and peer pressure. People are caught up within this bubble. And those are the people that can never help themselves. They always have to cry out to other people for help, okay? And they're also never prepared to step out the box and say, "You know what? I'm a user. It does nothing for me." And stuff like that. I'm a lawyer. You know, I run a good business, however. Why be scared of that? That's society and peer pressure. And those people will always be there, and those people will always be followers, and those people will always pay their installment towards their medical insurance so they can take a loan when they sick and stuff like that. And that's just, unfortunately, you know, I'll just wish that I could educate more people. This is why I agreed to go live on air, okay, right? And just educate people out there. Guys, whoa, you know, when that doctor says to you, "You've got six months to live," who the hell is that doctor to tell you that you've got six months to live? Is he God? Come on, guys. Be realistic. Think about it. When you get told that seven times in your life, you start realizing that, "Hang on a second.

Maybe that first doctor was actually wrong."

And this is the whole thing. People just believe, "Oh, it's a drug. I must stay away from it." I tell you what, the first time that person gets into a predicament and somebody exposes them to it, he'll be the biggest advocate of the product. Yeah. Trevor, we're starting to run out of time. I would like to chat to you a little bit more. We're just going to go back to one more break, and then when we come back, we'll be wrapping it up with Trevor Parkinson. Trevor, once again, thank you so much for your time. We'll be back with you in just a bit. Right now, though, we are on the line with Trevor Parkinson, and we're busy talking about cannabis and cannabis oil and then the various compounds, et cetera, et cetera. Trevor, we did speak about, well, about the fact that I've used it for my animals. You have a range for animals as well? We do a whole range for animals, and yeah, I use it on rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and that there, a couple of stud race horses, and that there, yeah, plenty, plenty dairy, and that there are a couple of bulls. The list goes crazy, and then on dogs, I don't think there's a species of dogs, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs. Geez, we've used it on so many different animals.

We actually busy treating a hairless rat at the moment for a cancerous growth on its eye.

Actually getting smaller. Well, I got to tell you another of my little success stories is that you can actually get the balm, which is a can of balm.

I had a mole on my arm, and when I actually went to go and get my tattoo done, the tattooist said, "Listen, I'm not even going to go anywhere near that because that thing looks dodgy." I've been using it on that and on a couple of other places on my body, and they're gone. Gone, gone, gone. I mean, it's the strangest thing because it just happens so quietly and unobtrusively. It's done, finished, and it was brilliant. Somebody wants to know, yeah, loving the show. My dad is in the state, suffers from Parkinson's. Would he be able to get his hands on the oil there? Do they? Most definitely. Most definitely. I can have it delivered from the state of what about overseas depots, and that there, I've got depots all around the world, and that working career directly from South Africa directly to him. No problem whatsoever. Okay, here we go. Another one says... We've seen this all around the world. Yeah, another one here says dogs. Sorry, Trevor. I've been roughly about 190 international parcels a week. Wow, somebody else says, "What about dogs with skin allergies?" I can tell you, I think it works brilliantly. Definitely, and then you must specifically ask for the one for a dog, for a pet, that's high on chlorophyll because you need more chlorophyll on the skin allergy on a dog.

Okay, Trevor. And then add more chlorophyll back for that specifically, and then tell us what type of dog it is. It's not like we can't even mix it one further more for the species of that animal because all the different species, different strains work differently with different species, same as a human being, same with different conditions, same with different elements. It's different strains for different things. That's why our baseline protocol has nine different strains in it. Okay, well, Trevor, we almost had a time. I'd love to chat to you some more, just having a look here. Some people in SA are trying to bring this to the masses. Ask him about vitamin B17. Do you know anything about B17? I know not about B17, but you get different creations of it. You get the synthetic creation, and then you get the true extract on B17, which there's only a few countries in the world that can do that, and it becomes very expensive. So, if you're talking about true B17, yeah, it's of luck, but it is quite expensive. And then you get the synthetic created B17, which is quite readily available. Okay. So, I'm just trying to catch up with all the messages and everybody that wanted to ask you questions.

Somebody says, "Would the show be podcast?" Yes, it will indeed be podcast. In the next couple of days, we should have that podcast up. Trevor, in conclusion, thank you again for your time. I think you and I are going to chat some more and see if we can have you on again. But if people are looking for more information on this, is the best place to go the place that I went to, that cannabisoilresearch.com? You just go to one of the agents, and we've got many agents around the world, and that's about the cannabisoilresearch.com. It'd be the best way of getting involved with the actual agent that could help you with getting the product. Okay. So, cannabisoilresearch.com, there's a lot of information on there as well. That's where I first started with all of my research and investigation. Trevor, thank you so much for taking the time out. I believe that the time has come for us to start talking about this stuff more openly. And I thank you for taking the time out to chat to us. Perfect. Yeah. And I'm always keen for another show. Wonderful stuff. Trevor, go well. We'll chat to you soon. Thank you very much. Yeah. There we go. On the line there with me, Trevor Parkinson. If you want to find out more, yes, there will be a podcast.

Lots and lots of people are asking.

Oh, Kerry, thank you for your kind words as well. Lots and lots of people are asking. Cannabisoilresearch.com is where you want to go. I'm not advocating whether you should or shouldn't use it. Go and check it out for yourself. I can tell you from my perspective, when you go from getting one to two hours sleep a night to be able to get a couple of hours sleep a night, it is certainly worth your while. Time up and out of here. You have yourselves a fantastic Monday. We'll catch you soon.

Keep listening
